  8. . The former President was not quite admitting to goofing off,
  9. but he did accept an 8-ft. surfboard from the students at
  10. Pepperdine University, where he delivered a speech. Don't expect
  11. to see him having fun, fun, fun on the surf, though. There is
  12. a lot of work to be done at his new Bel Air residence. With
  13. Nancy on a New York City trip, Reagan was alone unpacking crates
  14. from their White House years, and he couldn't find his heating
  15. pad! He also confessed to writer's block while toiling on his
  16. memoirs. Said he: "I tell you, I sit there looking at those
  17. blank pages." Perhaps his new digs need a ghost or two.
