- "Well," as Ronald Reagan would say, when Nancy's away . .
- . The former President was not quite admitting to goofing off,
- but he did accept an 8-ft. surfboard from the students at
- Pepperdine University, where he delivered a speech. Don't expect
- to see him having fun, fun, fun on the surf, though. There is
- a lot of work to be done at his new Bel Air residence. With
- Nancy on a New York City trip, Reagan was alone unpacking crates
- from their White House years, and he couldn't find his heating
- pad! He also confessed to writer's block while toiling on his
- memoirs. Said he: "I tell you, I sit there looking at those
- blank pages." Perhaps his new digs need a ghost or two.
